Algoritmos del viento | Theo Jansen

Hello! Today I´d like to talk about an exhibition I went with my dad last week. It was located in Centro Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo in Cerrillos, like the tittle says, it was called Algoritmos del viento by Theo Jansen. When we arrived, in the outside of the building,there was a strange type of machine with a bunch of legs, like a spider. The author named it Strandbeest, because he created this beast in a beach near his house in The Netherlands; in that place the structure walks by its own, because of the big gales, and obviously, does the complex system of legs and sails. I had the luck to move the machine myself, and it felt so light and easy. Here is a video of me walking the Strandbeest, called Animalis Ordis.
