Hello! Today I´d like to talk about an exhibition I went with my dad  last week. It was located in Centro Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo in Cerrillos, like the tittle says, it was called Algoritmos del viento by Theo Jansen. When we arrived, in the outside of the building, there was a strange type of machine with a bunch of legs, like a spider.  The author named it Strandbeest, because he created this beast in a beach near  his house in The Netherlands; in that place the structure walks by its own, because of the big gales, and obviously, does the complex system of legs and sails. I had the luck to move the machine myself,  and it felt so light and easy. Here is a video of me walking the Strandbeest, called Animalis Ordis.  In the inside the exhibition, there were a lot of different types of Strandbeest. Some of them looked very similar to animals or insects, and some others more similar to complex machines. There were some books with sketches and c...

A special family celebration

Hi everyone! Today I´m going to tell you about a especial family celebration I remember; It was my uncle´s birthday, in October 1, the last year, we celebrate in my grandma´s house, because it´s the bigger house we all have, and it´s so easy to arrive there, so I went with my boyfriend, my mother and her boyfriend and my little brother, and my big brother, who just arrived to Chile from Germany; when we arrived there were my grandma, obviously, my four uncles and my two aunts, with her husbands and him wifes and all my cousin; they are one little boy, and eight girls. It was so fun because we sang karaoke, and ate delicious food made by my grandma, who´s an excellent chef, we all   drank a lot, because we all gave alcohol for present to my uncle. We sang all nite, because we are like 23 people, and every single person song one or two songs, and some others sang in duplas, it was so funny because repertoire was so extense and went to a lot of different types of music. Well, in...

Hi everyone! This week Im going to tell you about a walk I would like to do again. It's hard to pick just one place, because I ussually like to walk, and I enjoy different kind of places, natural and urban. Maybe   the Japanese garden in Buenos Aires, where I went in   summer 2010 with my two brothers and mother, I was like 13 years old, so everything looked so amazing and beautiful, because I’d never went to a Japanese garden before, then I discovered the japanese’s greatness and elegance in simplicity. Days after that walk we took, was the big 2010 earthquake in Chile, so we didn´t feel what was like to be in an earthquake until we get back to Chile, later that year. Another place I would like to walk again It´s the contry in Dalcahue, located in la Isla Grande de Chiloé, where I went in summer 2016, with a friend and my boyfriend; we arrived to a eco – camping, so we put ours tents up in a hill, so we could see a beautiful   breaking dawn and sunrise f...

I was in  second year , estudying Geography, everything went fine, until in first semester, during the last weeks the Geomorfology´s teacher died, we were the last group he taught , so when I heard about it, I felt bad, but a little released because  he was very old, so now is resting. In all the other ways, it went everything fine, I saved a lot of money, making and selling bookbinders by social medias, and arts and crafts fair, to go travel Ecuador and Perú for holidays, this summer, so when I went, it felt so good, there are both beatiful places, Lima, in Perú it´s a little dirty, but instead  have a beautiful architecture; and Ecuador is soo amazing, in fact Quito is a city protected by the Unesco, because it´s a world heritage site. I wish we all have a great year, same or better than the last one. Here is a picture I shot of the Napo river, in the Ecuadorian...
